reasons I think the antichrist might die mid tribulation

revelation 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

(1) He only gets 42 months

revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

(2) Some kind of catastrophe happens to “one of his heads” “and his deadly wound was healed”. this is obviously talking about the “head” or hill since it says one of his heads were wounded to death. The heads are defined as hills in rev 17. The Vatican sits on one of the hills (heads) in Rome. If the Vatican was wounded by a spiritual revelation that it is a false religion but it didn’t “kill” the one world religion “beast” then it could be perceived that the wound was healed)

revelation 13:15  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

(3) The “He” in revelation 13:15 is the false prophet. Why would “he” need to give life unto the image of the beast if the beast is still alive

It’s my hypothesis when the antichrist dies the false prophet (I’m thinking the Pope) will beatify the antichrist. When the Pope beatifies a person they are then worshipped. in the locality of the deceased person. It has to be proven that the deceased person performed a miracle before they can be beatified. However it the deceased person was martyred then the miracle is bypassed.

If the person he requirement of a miracle for beatification is waived in the case of someone whose martyrdom is formally declared by the Church.^[7]
