Mid trib rapture or pre trib rapture?
The rapture begins with the signing of a 7 year peace treaty. See Daniel 9:27. To begin the “one week” (7 days of years=7 years) there will be a covenant that will be confirmed. Confirming seems to imply that the document is already in existence and it only needs to be confirmed.
Daniel 9: 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
If the rapture were mid trib then there would be no “thief in the night” rapture because everyone would know when the rapture would be. Right before the mid trib abomination of desolation. So the rapture has to be before the tribulation starts.
