All World Religions into one religious site:

Currently there is talk about combining all world religions into a one world religious site.

This one world religion may be located on the temple mount.

The Jewish people are currently preparing for the third Jewish temple to be rebuilt as soon as the Messiah comes.

Why hasn’t a third Jewish Temple been rebuilt?

One of the reason the third temple hasn’t been rebuilt is the Jews are waiting for the Messiah to come and build it.  Maimonides, a Spanish philosopher that was considered the greatest Jewish scholar of the Middle Ages, writes that one sign that the Messiah is the real Messiah will be when he rebuilds the temple on the Temple Mount.

Why does the Vatican have the Jewish Maimonides documents?

Jerusalem can become the spiritual capital of the world

Sanhedrin

The Sanhedrin was a council of 71 individuals, around the time of Christ that was comprised of Pharisees and Sadducees who governed the Jewish nation while under the rule of Rome.

It often served as a court to settle legal and religious matters.

This past October 2004, the Sanhedrin was reestablished for the first time in 1,600 years.  (see below)

The Jews are getting ready for the third temple to be built.

Members of Reestablished Sanhedrin Ascend Temple Mount:

This past October 2004, the Sanhedrin was reestablished for the first time in 1,600 years, at the site of its last meeting in Tiberias.

The two witnesses

God is going to send two witnesses to earth sometime during the beginning of the tribulation period.  I think they may be sent right after the signing of the covenant mentioned in Daniel 9:27 by the antichrist and “many”.

Revelation 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.  4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.   5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

These two witnesses are given power to witness for 3 ½ years (1260 days- Biblical yrs were 360 days).  If anyone on earth tries to hurt either of these two witnesses then that person will be killed by the same manner.

Count the days…

The two witnesses are given power for 1260 days.  I’m thinking they start witnessing right after the tribulation starts.

Midway through the tribulation Israel flees to the wilderness where she is protected by God for 1260 days.  If Israel flees right after the desolation of the temple, which I think is midway, then the tribulation should last 2520 days or 7 Jewish biblical years.  Count each day so you will know how long you will need to survive till Jesus returns.

In Daniel 12:11-12 it says from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away there will be 1290 days.  If the daily sacrifice is taken away right at mid point then somehow there is an extra 30 days.  It could be that the daily sacrifice is taken away a month BEFORE the midway point of the tribulation.

In Daniel 12:12 it says there is an extra 45 days added to this.  It says in Daniel 12:11-12 – blessed is he that waiteth and cometh to the 1335 days.  This extra time may be needed for the judgments at the end of the tribulation.

Daniel 12:11-12  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.    12Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

They “have power to “shut heaven that it rain not“.  And they have power over waters to turn them to blood and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they want.

7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Ultimately they are killed by the beast or Satan – the one that ascends out of the bottomless pit.

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.  9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.  12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

But the two witnesses come back to life after their bodies lie dead in the streets for 3 ½ days.  As soon as they come back to life, fear falls on all that see them.  There is a voice from heaven that says “Come up hither” and they ascend up to heaven in a cloud as their enemies watch.

Holy Spirit

When God takes His children at the Rapture then the Holy Spirit will no longer be on the earth.  The Holy Spirit is needed in order for people to be saved during the tribulation.  The two witnesses may be the way God sends the Holy Spirit back to the earth.    Revelation talks about many people getting saved during these seven years of judgment.  It may be like a great revival starting with 144,000 Jews.  It’s possible that the 144,000 Jews get saved by listening to the two witnesses, maybe on the internet or television.

Who are these two witnesses?

John does not specifically identify the two witnesses. However, some indicators point the way towards their identification, real or symbolic, to be Moses and Elijah.

They “have power to “shut heaven that it rain not” (Rev. 11:6). This power was associated with Elijah, whose prayer caused a terrible drought in Israel (1 Kings 17:1).

1 Kings 17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

The prophet Malachi had written in God’s name: “I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes” (4:5).

Malachi 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.  5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:   6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

As did Moses, the two witnesses “have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague” (Rev. 11:6 and Exodus 7:14-21). This recalls Moses’ role, whom through ten plagues—including turning the Nile and the waters of Egypt into blood—brought down the most powerful kingdom of the day.

Also, like Elijah, the two witnesses can consume their enemies with fire, if they try to hurt them (11:5 with 2 Kings 1:10). This fire is said to “come from their mouths” (11:5).  This may mean quoting Bible scripture instead of literal fire.

In any case, the imagery of Revelation 11 is so carefully worked out to coincide with the most noteworthy accomplishments of Elijah and Moses that it cannot be accidental. John is giving his readers a message.

When you think of the two witnesses, think of Moses and Elijah.

Earthquake!!

Watch out because as soon as the witnesses ascend to heaven there will be an earthquake.  Revelation 11:13

Revelation 11:12
And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Revelation 11:13
And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Encouragement

The witnesses lie dead in the streets for 3.5 days.  This may be encouragement for those that need to give up their life during the tribulation in order to become a Christian and live forever with God in heaven.  If you give your life to Christ midway through the tribulation then you will get your resurrected body 3.5 years later that will live eternally in heaven.

Here’s a link to a Jewish site that displays a live scene coming from the western wall in Jerusalem.

It’s possible this may be where the two witnesses will proclaim the Word of God.

The 144,000 Jews

Revelation 7:3  Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.  4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.  2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:  3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.  4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.  5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Mid tribulation will possibly find the 144,000 all getting together for a big summit revival on Mount Zion or Jerusalem as it is mentioned in Revelation 14:1.

The 144,000 Jews are mentioned in two different places in Revelation.  In Revelation chapter 7 and 14.  These Jews are described as 144,000 virgin males (Rev. 14:4) with 12,000 coming from each of the tribes of Israel.  12,000 X 12 = 144,000.   Read about this in Revelation chapter 7

In Revelation chapter 7 the angel proclaims not to hurt the earth, or the sea, or the trees, till the 144,000 have the seal of God in their foreheads.

It’s possible while listening to these two witnesses these 144,000 Jews give their lives to Christ.  Revelation chapter 7 tells us that as soon as all 144,000 have given their lives to Christ, the earth, sea and trees will not be protected any more.
